Joseph Phelps has made a name for himself producing stellar vintages of his high-scoring and high-priced proprietary blend, Insignia. Crafting such a high-quality wine means growing more than enough high-quality fruit, and extra barrels of quality fruit means the ability to bring you these bottles grown, tended, and crafted by the Phelps team at about 1/6 of Insignia's price! The grapes in this bottle are almost entirely Phelps Estate-grown, and carry flavors of black currant, coffee and mocha. An incredible value from a notable estate. |

The High Trellis has a typical young Cabernet Sauvignon attack on the nose; lifted violets, mint and capsicum Cabernet edges above a rich, ripe blackberry, plum and liquorice ash base. A smoky vanilla oak and cinnamon smell helps give the wine great complexity and longevity. On the palate, mouth filling sweet blackberries, plums and blackcurrant flavors are finely structured with firm fruit and oak tannin on the long, fresh young finish.

A malty American Amber style ale, this mahogany hued ale brings an intense spectrum of hop flavors from the spicy aromatic to lingering bitter, all underscored by a full- bodied caramel richness. |
